Kindcareathome02 Our caregivers are of course highly qualified professionals in their field of work. However, we at Kind Care at Home recognize that when someone’s work involves supporting the elderly at their most vulnerable, that person’s personality is of much more importance that the number of qualifications they possess.

Our interview process therefore goes beyond measurable qualifications, and involves a personal and intuitive assessment of a caregiver’s ability to meet our exacting standards. We look for caregivers who can:

  • Support your loved ones, while encouraging them to be active
  • We at Kind Care understand that most people do not wish for someone to enter their homes and do everything for them. We employ caregivers who can appreciate when a client is unable to do something themselves, yet encourage clients to resume personal tasks (that may have ceased due to an illness or operation for example) when they are physically and mentally able to do so.

  • Be compassionate
  • Kind Care ensures that its caregivers are genuinely compassionate, able to not only see things from the perspective of the client, but also from that of the client’s family members. Our caregivers are genuinely interested in a client’s comfort and wellbeing, and that family members understand what steps are being taken to ensure that the best quality of care is provided.

  • Be responsible
  • Our caregivers understand their responsibility in caring for your loved ones. They understand for example, the importance of medications being administered on time. They are responsible individuals who report for work as scheduled.

  • Be respectful
  • Our caregivers appreciate that they are entering your space and are respectful of you and your home.

  • Maintain dignity
  • Our caregivers understand that a client’s sense of dignity is paramount. They work to ensure that potential trauma to clients, in any situation where dignity could be compromised, is reduced.

  • Kind Care understands the demanding needs of our clients. Contact us today to learn how we can help you.
